The History of JTAI
After 20-years of working at large and small architectural firms in Michigan and Florida, Tagle found himself at a cross-road. Should he seek to join a firm whose leadership placed high value on serving their customers with excellence or was it time to combine those years of practical experience and beliefs into a new practice of his own?
Since that decision, JTAI has grown from a converted bedroom office that has sustained the ebbs and flows of the rollercoaster economic cycles. Today, JTAI is regularly retained to do multi-million dollar church and corporate office commissions out of its design studio in Troy, Michigan.
In 2000, JTAI came to the international scene by designing a church in a rural South African community. Since then JTAI has completed designs for a boys’ and girls’ dormitory in India, a residential community for orphaned children in Mozambique, and a community center for impoverished children in Durbin, South Africa.
While maintaining and strengthening its involvement in the church and corporate markets, JTAI’s culture and values continually endeavor to seek out efforts that will help serve humanity locally and around the world.
