Olsman Law Offices
This project converted a building that once housed laboratories for the Michigan Milk Producers Association, into professional law offices. To control budget, existing stairs, window openings, and building entry locations were left intact and the program evolved around these elements. Strategically placed stacked openings allow the partitions to convey privacy while providing a sense of openness. A stoic glass and wood veneer grid separates the lobby from the office while providing visual continuity between the spaces. Contemporary detailing and transparency allows a glance at the colorful forms beyond, suggesting an inviting and more relaxed environment.
